La Manga Club is situated about 100km south of Alicante on Spain's Costa Calida. The climate here is superb, with more than 3000 hours of sunshine a year!
The resort will appeal mainly to sporty types and their families; there are three 18-hole golf courses on the complex, one of the best tennis complexes in Spain, an equestrian center, and a host of watersport activities available on the nearby Mar Menor, Spain's largest inland sea.
For the less sporty, there are wonderful beaches just a few kilometers away, including a private cove for club visitors, a variety of colourful and lively local markets at which to pick up local produce and bargains (particularly in shoes), and a wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops on the complex.
