Installing the EZVars plugins

The EZVars plugins are "self-installing": you do not need to register them in the maker.ini file.

To install a plugin, proceed as follows:

1. Download the ZIP file and extract the dynamic link library (DLL) file
2. Copy the DLL file to the framehome\fminit\Plugins folder, for example, C:\Program Files\Adobe\FrameMaker7.2\fminit\Plugins
3. Start FrameMaker
4. Start the utility by selecting a menu item from the EZTools menu.

Uninstalling the EZVars plugins

To uninstall any of the plugins:

1. Exit FrameMaker
2. Delete the plugin's DLL file from the framehome\fminit\Plugins folder
3. Start FrameMaker.
